When I was going through my worst days, I had the feeling of ending my life. I didn’t dare to participate in any elocution competitions, group discussions, much less speaking in public. Sometimes I would speak the words fluently as if I had no problem at all. I still had problems with certain words that started with p, t, ka, etc. When I got into the college, the problem did persist. I could hear the giggles in the class as I was speaking. While my friends were able to read aloud, I would stutter to push each word out. When I was in school, my teachers would ask me to stand up and read the portion of a chapter. Often I asked myself, “Why did God choose ME?” But that was a wrong question. It was only me who had a stammering problem. My father was an orator, so was my elder brother.
